How to unarchive Instagram posts

Would you like to restore some of the posts you removed or archived from your Instagram feed?

In four simple steps, you can unarchive your Instagram post that you have “saved” in the archived folder.

How can you restore your archived Instagram posts so they display again in your profile feed?

Go to the Instagram account where the posts you want to unarchive are located and let’s get started!

1 GO TO YOUR PROFILE

Simply click on the icon in the lower right corner, directly below your feed as the account’s creator.

You can click the three horizontal lines in the upper right corner of your feed.

2 TAP ARCHIVE

You will find here all the previously published photos, posts, and videos that were previously removed from your Instagram feed as long as you didn’t delete them.

3 CLICK ON POSTS

All posts that you have archived are displayed, regardless of whether they are images, videos, or carousels.

4 CHOOSE THE PUBLICATION YOU WANT TO UNARCHIVE

Have you already decided which post you will include in your feed? Simply tap it and click the three dots.

Click on ‘Show on profile’.

Once you click this button, go back to your profile and check that your post has appeared in your Instagram feed.

What does it mean to unarchive a post?

Removing a post from the archive means that it will appear in your Instagram feed again.

· When you unarchive the post, it’s uploaded to the date when it was originally published. The comments and likes from the past will also display.

· Your followers and users who visit your profile can interact with this post again.

You can archive this post again whenever you wish if you reshare it.
