How to Know if Someone Hide Their Story From You on Instagram
You can easily find out if someone has blocked you on Instagram. You won’t always be able to see someone’s Instagram story when they hide it from you. Have you not seen a story from your friend in a while and want to check it out? The following are ways to tell if someone on Instagram has hidden their story. Let’s begin.
1. Private Account You Follow
In fact, it can be difficult to find out whether the user will reveal the story if they have a private account. It’s a security feature, not a bug. The only option you have is to ask another follower who is able to see it. At the moment, there are no third-party apps that allow you to view a private story. If you have the same friend circle, this is the only way.
2. Public Account
Unlike the first one, you’re in luck if they have a public account. To borrow a friend’s phone, or to borrow the phone of a family member, you can simply ask for a friend’s phone. Since it’s a public account, any Instagram user can see the user’s story. Other methods include creating a new account or using one of the few anonymous Instagram story viewer apps.

3. Close Friends

Personally, I use this trick to hide stories from a few friends (caught red-handed). A user can hide their stories from other Instagram users. Additionally, it is not necessary to follow the user’s profile to be on the hidden users’ list. You might not be able to see the stories because of this.

5. Reply and Reactions
There is a lesser-known Instagram setting that most users may not even be aware of. A user can disable the ability for other users to reply to the story using the Reply and Reaction setting. The interaction advantage we discussed goes for a spin. The user can allow everyone to reply to stores. People You Follow or completely turn off reactions.
